Devlog N°1

Hello. We are Guatón Loyola Gaming, a Chilean development group comprised of Francisco Almeida, Valeria Franciscangeli, Valentina Montoya, and Sebastián Monteiro.

Our upcoming video game is a unique asymmetric multiplayer racing game designed for up to 4 players. In this game, each player assumes control of a vital component of a vehicle. Picture this: four infants make their getaway using a minivan from their daycare facility. Due to their diminutive size, each baby can only manage a specific part of the vehicle. One handles the steering wheel, another manages the pedals for braking and acceleration, yet another oversees the gearshift, while the fourth is stationed in the back, hurling diapers filled with suspicious content at the pursuing police officers. Additional tasks may also be integrated, creating a need for strategic rotation within the gameplay. For instance, if a baby is reloading the diaper cannon, the reloading process could be expedited, or perhaps repairs become necessary, requiring one of the players to temporarily vacate their post.

The babies navigate a road replete with obstacles and other vehicles. The captivating gameplay is unbounded, and the roles of the players are cyclically and obligatorily interchanged at intervals to ensure a dynamic experience, preventing any monotony from setting in.

Currently, we are in the process of developing the initial idea for the game, so we don't have any demo available at the moment. As a first step towards bringing this game to life, we need to allocate development tasks, which we will be doing throughout this week. We will update soon with the first demo.

In the meantime, we're sharing a sketch of our game idea. Keep in mind that each player will have a different view, and that's what we're trying to convey in the drawing.

Thank you for reading!
